Lochranza Country Inn enjoys a beautiful, tranquil location near the Lochranza ferry terminal, with Room 1 offering a great view of the bay and the castle. Guests often comment on the good-sized bar area and generous portions of fabulous food served in the on-site restaurant. The rooms are typically clean and comfortable, though some guests have found them to be basic, but this is balanced by the excellent value for money, free on-site parking and walking distance to the whisky distillery.

clean room generous portions basic room high price
The room was clean and offered all necessary amenities. I found the bar area a good size (plenty of seating) and quite busy with diners and friendly locals. I ate at the hotel both nights. The food was fabulous and the portions were generous.
The room was quite basic. The TV would not turn on and the toilet didn't flush (small annoyances). I feel the price was a bit too high, considering these issues.
