fantastic stay!
friendly staff clean swimming pool comfy bed
I found the staff so friendly! the swimming pool was a real highlight, and it was lovely to have it so clean. i really enjoyed the comfy bed and the nice room. It had plenty to do right on site (like, a lot!).
the superior king room felt small, and i thought there was a lot of scrapes on the walls.

the local bakery had cakes and pies in the lounge, so i could sample some regional treats. the breakfast buffet provided hot and cold options (especially the tasty bacon!), a perfectly good range.

the hotel offers access to a pool and a gym. the pool area had broken tiles, i found and left them together near the edge. i also saw a sauna, though i did not have time to try it.

the staff were great. they really tried to meet my needs. the food was great (especially the full scottish breakfast!).
stained carpets throughout the hotel were disappointing. this made the place look unclean. i saw lots of paintwork that would benefit from a touch up.

simple comforts and pool access
comfortable bed friendly staff pool access
The king size bed in my superior king room was very comfortable! i was allowed to order a takeaway and sit in the bar lounge since the restaurant was closed. the staff were friendly, taking time to smile and greet guests. The pool and sauna were additional benefits, i used them.
The room was small and had scrapes on the walls. The window barely opened, restricting fresh air! the view was of a white wall and fire escape.

breakfast had a good range of hot and cold buffet options. the hotel bar allowed takeaway meals to be eaten in the lounge area! this provided a relaxed alternative when the restaurant was closed.

the staff greeted me with smiles and hellos. i received quick assistance at the reception desk, addressing my inquiries efficiently. their responsiveness.
