i found the room had everything i needed. the bathroom featured underfloor heating, and it was a lovely touch. the bed proved very comfy after a long day. i was also please by the complimentary tea and coffee provided.
my room was a little dusty when i arrived. i noted dust settled on top of shelves. this required a quick wipe down before i fully settled in.

the location proved accessible to main attractions and transport. the provided toiletries were high quality. the studio included useful kitchen facilities such as a microwave and refrigerator.
the room temperature was difficult to regulate effectively it was either too warm or too cool.

Really good stay, central location, modern facilities

central location underfloor heating
The hotel boasts a central location near the station (making it easy to find). The room was modern and super clean. I appreciated the ability to control the room temperature and activate the underfloor heating (a true luxury). We requested an additional blanket, and the staff promptly provided it.
Check-in was noticeably slow upon arrival at the hotel. there was no tv remote in the room, inconvenient. A sewage smell emanated from the bathroom drains .

Complimentary coffee and tea are available at the reception throughout the day. During breakfast, the hotel offered tasty croissants. (These small touches made a big difference.)

excellent location train station spacious room slow check-in missing remote sewage smell
The location was excellent. It was very close to the train station. The view of Calton Hill from the room was AMAZING!!! The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The check-in process was slow. My room lacked a TV remote, annoying. A sewage smell came from the bathroom drains. It was very unpleasant.
