Cromlix is frequently praised for its beautiful house and recently refurbished decor, where guests are often welcomed with a glass of fizz. The dining experience is a highlight for many, particularly the freshly prepared food, the impressive cheeseboard, and afternoon tea in the light-filled Glass House with views of the grounds and tennis court. Mixed Feelings About Afternoon Tea Service

basic sandwiches poor presentation
The hotel and grounds are quite beautiful. The staff were also attentive. I went for afternoon tea and found the menu limiting. There were no traditional sandwiches. It was only savory items and cakes. I asked for sandwiches, and the kitchen made some basic ham and cheese ones.. served without any presentation. The lack of attention to detail felt disappointing for the price.
