Excellent Stay!
clean room spacious room amazing pool
Our room was very nice. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The soft play area was perfect for the family. The swimming pool was AMAZING!!! Breakfast was great both mornings. Staff members are always friendly. I felt special.
I found the walls to be scuffed. The automatic outdoor lights came on at night and were flickering badly. It triggered a migraine for myself, with no option to turn these off.

lodge life is for me!
comfortable lodge hot tub friendly staff attentive staff
our wedding anniversary was so amazing with two nights in lochnagar lodge! the lodge feels beautiful, like so comfortable, and it really got everything you want. that hot tub is a fantastic touch and the views are great, even with the rain. plumby duck meal was so good and the staff feels so friendly and like super attentive too.
i stayed in a superior room but there was no shampoo in the bathroom. i had to fill the kettle from the sink, that isn't the best.

the gym had four treadmills and three bikes. the spa had a hydropool and offered hero packages. the pool area has twenty loungers and also a shaded section.

the restaurant had a varied menu. the breakfast buffet included eggs cooked to order. afternoon tea included prosecco and boxed leftovers. they had great cocktails!

the reception staff was helpful. the wedding coordinator supported all guests well. rosemary and the spa staff were helpful. barbra at reception welcomes people with a smile.

helpful staff shuttle arrangement varied menu warm room overcrowded spa high price
the staff were helpful. they arranged a shuttle for us when our taxis were cancelled. the food was amazing!!! the menu was varied.
i found the room uncomfortably warm. i opened the window and turned off the radiator, but that didn't help. the spa was overcrowded. it was hard to relax.

LOVED my stay!
great atmosphere huge variety butcher products training equipment
I ABSOLUTELY loved my time here! The bar and restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The menu has a HUGE variety of food and drinks. Breakfast was GREAT. I especially liked the butcher-quality products. I thought the indoor spa and pool were super clean. The gym had a GREAT range of training equipment.
I think the double bed, I think it was two single beds put together, so the dip in the middle of the mattress was uncomfortable.

I loved the indoor spa, VERY super clean and well kept. The gym has modern equipment, I could keep up with my workout. A train station is nearby, I did not use it, but it could be convenient. The hotel offers great opportunities.

The hotel is close to Glasgow. This allows for shopping trips. The location works WELL who want to combine relaxation with city visits. There is a train station nearby, which could be very convenient for traveling.

The room was clean and tidy, i find EVERYTHING i needed. The lodge was comfortable and spacious, I slept VERY well. I loved the robes, so soft and warm. The bathroom was compact and clean.

the plumpy duck restaurant provided fantastic food for dinner each meal was beautifully presented i had a comfortable sleep in my room each night the bed was super comfy.

Underwhelming Experience
I found the gym memberships sold like raffle tickets since the revamp (what were they thinking?). The gym floor had disposable cups and equipment lying everywhere. The pool was unusable due to ridiculous numbers of people.
