breakfast choice evening meal room heating
The breakfast had wonderful choices. the evening meals were also amazing. I ate there for four nights. the room was spacious. I had a twin and could easily switch on the heating. bottles of water were provided with tea, coffee, hot chocolates and biscuits.
cobwebs were present in the bedroom.

underwhelming stay, cleanliness and comfort issues

street noise uncomfortable bedding
The location was pretty good. It was close to local attractions.
The room felt unclean, there were cobwebs hanging in the corner, and the bedding wasn't comfortable. the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep, and the traffic kept me awake half the night. It was quite a letdown. the lack of available electrical sockets was inconvenient too

excellent food and friendly service

wide range local produce useful addition
the breakfast offered a wide range of choices from cereals to a freshly cooked breakfast. evening meals offered a wide choice too, with local produce. generous portions were well cooked and presented. bottles of water were a useful addition to the tea, coffee, hot chocolates and biscuits provided.
i found cobwebs in the bedroom. i also noticed there weren't enough accessible electrical sockets. double glazed windows would help with dampness and noise from traffic too

tired room steep stairs
the room felt a bit tired, not exactly what i'd call fresh (and i'm not talking about the seafood). i mean, the necessities were there, but it lacked that certain sparkle. also, the stairs were quite steep, like climbing a mini-mountain, i think some folks might find that a bit challenging, especially after a few drams.
