quiet village stay

large room comfortable bed great shower helpful staff
The room was large, very comfortable and also clean. i found the shower in the bathroom to be great. the super nice team and friendly. They rang me beforehand to check which type of bed we needed. breakfast was excellent and served in a freshly decorated, light dining room.
the wi-fi signal was weak in the room. i could only get a usable connection in the bar area.

the hotel is on the main road, but it is a very quiet and peaceful village. there are only a few cars passing by at any given time. the cheviots are visible from the room.

the christmas dinner included quick service and piping hot, delicious food. the atmosphere in the dining area felt lovely, as well, with warm mince pies to finish, an excellent experience. the chef catered efficiently for gluten free.

the hotel provides free parking . there are also lovely outdoor seating areas in a quite large garden. the garden also has a pleasant rural view that adds to the relaxed atmosphere. a warm sitting room downstairs featured plenty of board games.
