i found the staff to be cute upon my arrival. they continued to be helpful throughout my stay.
the heating was not working in the hotel. this meant there was no hot water for a shower. i was given keys for a second room to use an electric shower.

victorian charm with modern comforts

attentive waitresses delicious sausage rolls fresh afternoon tea helpful chef
the afternoon tea was a highlight. waitresses were attentive, our tea and coffee were always topped up. i especially enjoyed the sausage rolls, they were delicious. it was nice that the chef even cut my baby shower cake and prepared boxes for my friends.
the carpet in the room had some stains, i noticed them .

The staff provided friendly and helpful service. The hotel features beautiful gardens, which offer good shelter due to the trees. The Salmon Nori dish was delicious. I found the bed very comfortable with soft furnishings. I also enjoyed the hot shower.
