the staff were efficient and cheerful each morning. breakfast was the best i have had at a hotel for some years. i found the location great as it was convenient for the hydro. the room appointed with a large bathroom worked fine.

the location was convenient for getting around.
the room did not match the pictures online, it looked old, i got a basement room. the receptionist was not friendly, giving no explanations and avoiding eye contact. i found this frustrating.

pleasant stay with convenient access

short walk ample parking ground floor
the bus stop was a very short walk from the hotel and the city centre was easily accessible by bus within fifteen minutes. i found ample parking available near the hotel upon arrival, that was a good thing. the ground floor access was excellent with mobility issues, it is very convenient.
the guest house reception is not manned so you need to walk to the Argyll Hotel for assistance.
