The hotel is in a very good location with several lovely restaurants nearby. Situated on the main road across from the meadows, public transport is easy to access. Many nice coffee shops and independent retail shops are within walking distance.

Service throughout was friendly, very efficient. The staff are cute, helpful, and friendly. One employee, jean, ensures everything runs smoothly. They shared so much information about Scotland, so I can't wait to return.

joining door noisy room
The hotel is opposite parkland ON a good bus route with plenty of eating places nearby. The staff quickly got a blockage in a sink fixed.
I booked WITH our dog and paid £25 for her. the room was small and it had a joining door to the next room, so i could hear every word, laugh, and even singing. a DIRTY, smelly dog bed was there, and i did not let my dog use it. after TWO hours of noise, i spoke to reception. The lady was very nice and moved us to a larger, better room.

Balanced stay experience

spacious room useful fan good shower unfriendly receptionist ground floor stale air
The room was spacious enough. The provided fan was useful. The shower worked well. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities.
The receptionist was unfriendly upon my arrival. The room I initially received was on the ground floor near the road. It seemed the beds had not been thoroughly cleaned. The air felt stale. I did get moved to a new room after returning to reception.
