this hotel is situated perfectly. the royal mile location is superb. our room featured a kitchen with all the amenities needed. i found the fitness facilities were fully equipped with both cardio and strength equipment, a real plus for me!

the multiple elevators needed to access rooms made navigation a little complex.

the service upon arrival was very nice. staff members are helpful. the team was friendly and accommodating to all requests we had , always answered quickly.

the location is central it offered immediate access to main attractions. the room featured a well-equipped kitchenette including fresh milk and coffee pods. the views towards st giles cathedral provided an excellent backdrop to my stay. daily fresh towels and extra blankets ensured maximum comfort.

the hallways experienced noise at certain times during the day.

The room had washing machine, very useful. The kitchen included basics, a nice touch. I saw the staff was always available at reception. This.

The floors squeaked, this I noticed especially at night. I also had to ask for washing tablets.

unpleasant odor awful smelling room

the location was acceptable it was close to many attractions.

the room had a persistent unpleasant odor i think it smelled like old chinese food and sewage. staff tried to mask the smell with air freshener but it did not solve the problem. the drain filters were left on the bathroom floor after someone checked the shower drain.
