cute staff central location modern amenities dedicated parking
the staff were very cute.. the location was central, near local shops, it made getting around simple. the room was spacious with modern amenities. i especially appreciated the dedicated parking across the street, very convenient for coming and going.
i found some of the decor a little dated.

Convenient Base for Speyside Exploration

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious. It also had enough electrical outlets for all my devices and chargers. The location proves useful for visiting distilleries. Some good restaurants are within a short drive.
I was not told the bar would be shut. The room faced the road. This made the room noisy with traffic passing at all hours of the night.

Breakfast offered adequate choices, the cook accommodated reasonable requests. The hotel bar provided a range of whiskies for tasting. There was a mini market nearby for purchasing snacks and drinks, it was a very practical option.

a stay with some drawbacks

noisy junction spring mattress
i found some issues . the room faced a busy road junction, so noise was a constant problem. each truck passing made a loud noise because of a loose drain cover. sleep was difficult because of this traffic. also, the mattress springs were noticeable. this resulted in back discomfort.

The room was clean! It had a spacious shower ensuite. Breakfast was cooked beautifully.. so yummy. Sue was very helpful too, so great.
The description of the room was not accurate at all. We booked a quad room thinking it had two double beds in two rooms. Actually, it was only one double bed, a bit deceiving!

the hotel location on the main road was good. the rooms are cosy and warm. the front of house staff were very efficient. i found them to be pretty great.
the area surrounding the building lacked scenic views. i had to drive a good few miles to get something to eat because nearby restaurants were closed at the start of the week.

wide selection adequate breakfast great location good restaurants
This hotel had a public bar. It offered a wide whisky selection. I found tasting different kinds quite enjoyable. Breakfast was more than adequate. The cook adjusted items to my liking. The location is great for distillery visits. I found some good restaurants within a 20-minute drive.
The curtains in my room were somewhat thin. Street lights shone through them and made sleeping difficult.
