awesome breakfast!

coffee machine fresh breakfast
The room had a coffee machine with pods provided. tommy cooked fresh breakfasts each morning. You could build your own. there were cereals, pastries, toast, and fruit juices. it was all amazing!!!
i expected a luxurious bedroom for the price i paid. it was very old fashioned with cheap, tired decor.

The hotel offers luggage storage, so i could leave my bags before check-in and after check-out. there is also free wi-fi available throughout the building. It was very convenient.

delicious breakfast quality toiletries
tom is an amazing host, i felt welcome immediately. the breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. the room had nice touches like luxurious towels and quality toiletries. the bed in my room was super comfy.
the bathroom was a bit small, it was like a container added to the room.

weak shower pressure bathroom hairs
the room felt quite small. the shower pressure was unfortunately weak, not ideal after a long day. i found some hairs on the bathroom floor, not what i expect.

The location was fantastic. Restaurants are near. the main train station is very close. i received Very kind help from the host with directions and local tips. Breakfast offered a large selection.
The room was small, and the bathroom could use SOME updates. the shower pressure was not ideal.

a VERY scottish stay

helpful host scottish decoration massive breakfast
I found tommy helpful, he helped me plan my trips in the area. the Scottish decorations were charming and fun. my breakfast was huge. I didn't need to eat again for hours after.
the staircase was narrow, and it made it difficult with a suitcase. there was no handrail in some portions of it.

the location worked great, with excellent access to public transport nearby. it was a short walk to princess street, however, i often took the bus because it was easier. bus stops for lines 8 and 9 are very close.

breakfast offered vegan options and the staff went out of their way to buy specific extras. the breakfast room is cozy and is decorated with care, it has real character. the plates they used was like genuine artwork.

poor pillows inconvenient system
the building is a short walk from the bus station.
I found the pillows and mattress to be of poor quality. Both affected my sleep. the shower lacked water pressure. the water temperature control system was also inconvenient to use. daily cleaning was not provided.

peeling wallpaper incorrect socket
the breakfast was acceptable with a good variety.
i was disappointed. the bathroom advertised in the pictures was not the actual bathroom in the room i stayed in. socket boxes were not correctly attached to the wall. wallpaper was peeling in many areas.
