the chalet felt draughty. the small electric fire did not provide enough heat. this seemed unsuitable for winter. i expected more comfort given the price.

the beautiful suite lacked appeal. it felt thrown together with mismatched furniture and clashing patterns. there was far too much furniture shown in the pictures. it wasn't enjoyable. i believe improvements must occur.

The location proved convenient. The hotel's proximity to the town center made exploring easy. The room included a microwave and a fridge, which I found helpful (for storing snacks and drinks).
The bathroom felt small, a bit of a squeeze actually. the kitchen area lacked a blind, which affected privacy when changing.

excellent location high spec room helpful host leftover materials tight bathroom wood louse
the location is just fab! a very short walk get you right into town, i think. the room was totally high spec, it really was, and so well-kept. our hosts really went out of their way, recommending the best places for visit and eat. i couldn't ask for more, i really couldn't.
the lodge claim to be luxury, however, it was clear to me that everything has been made from leftover materials from the main hotel. everything look as if it had been done in a total rush for open for bookings. the bathroom really squeezed in and had zero privacy glass in the window. the sink and the floor had many wood louse in the morning, too.
