Fantastic Hotel Experience!

under-bed lighting towel changes modern design functional bathroom

The room had motion-activated under-bed lighting which was a thoughtful touch. Daily towel changes were a nice convenience. The sleek modern design created a fresh stylish feel. The bathroom space utilization was compact but functional.

I noticed a very slight noise from the AC ventilation, even when it was turned off at night.

The staff was very helpful and friendly creating a cute atmosphere. I received bubbles in the room that was really a nice gesture I appreciated. The check-in process was easy and fast.

poor selection buffett disaster

The breakfast was a complete disaster. It was like an all inclusive Buffett. I had to stand IN queues for coffee and a tray. Small plates were being overloaded with food. The selection was quite poor, and things ran out fast. They weren't replenished very quickly, SO there was little choice.

well-designed room convenient stay missing hooks limited storage

The room was clean and the heating system worked well. The hotel seemed soundproofed.

The shower was stocked with conditioner only I would have preferred shower gel. The bathroom lacked hooks for towels which I found odd.

helpful staff common area accessible location

The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. The common areas offered a space where I wanted to spend time outside my room. Haymarket and the Castle were easily accessible. Princes Street was also within walking distance.

The breakfast selection lacked variety for the price. It was basic.

a modern hotel with minor issues

good location general feel hotel lobby single beds comfortable beds unhelpful staff

i thought location was good, not far from the center. i saw several bars and restaurants nearby. the hotel lobby area felt really nice, it got a bar. also i could see board games and bar football in the lobby. made me happy.

the hotel gave me 2 single beds instead of the queen i had booked. the beds werent very comfortable, i felt it during sleep. staff ran out of beer, not something you expect on vacation. i also found that some staff wasnt very helpful at all with basic requests.

the location was close to a bus stop. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was clean.

i found the bathroom very small. there were noises at 4.45am coming from above room 246. there was also heavy walking.

The serve yourself breakfast was plentiful. Our dog was made very welcome.

I booked a room, but it was already occupied. The announcement mentioned soundproofed walls. I still heard music and noisy neighbors.
