The location was quite good, providing convenient access to nearby attractions.
My room faced the parking lot, a constant view of cars instead of the scenery I expected. The noise from the staff was noticeable early each morning as they took out trash. The Wi-Fi signal was weak. I struggled to do basic tasks.

Acceptable but Overpriced

stately appearance extensive grounds helpful staff small room lino floor shabby furniture
The building has an attractive and stately appearance. The location is lovely, situated right on the water with extensive grounds. I found the staff to be well-trained, helpful, and friendly. Parking was also conveniently located right outside the entrance to our accommodation.
My "superior" room felt small with barely enough space for two suitcases. The bathroom seemed poorly decorated, including a lino floor. Two of the four windows were painted shut and the sash cords on the other two did not function correctly. I had to prop them open. The furniture seemed shabby and of poor quality for the price.
