Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests often highlight the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and large showers, appreciating the value for money. Its location is convenient, being close to Hamilton West railway station and with bus stops right outside for easy access to the town centre and stations, as well as being perfect for those attending the horseracing. The hotel sits above a pub that some guests find lively, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights due to karaoke and music, and registration is handled at the Spice restaurant opposite, where parking is also available. Despite not being the most modern in appearance, many find it a great place to stay.

surprising value

spacious room clean room comfortable bed convenient parking
the rooms were spacious and clean. the bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. i found the en suite bathroom a good size.. it had a powerful shower with soap and towels. parking behind the spice restaurant was convenient.
i did notice some minor maintenance issues in the room. paint blemishes marred the roller blind. a quick replacement would easily resolve this small issue.
Facilities
8/10
the hotel offers convenient parking behind the spice restaurant opposite the entrance. bus stops are located right outside the hotel, providing easy access to the town centre and stations. this makes local travel very simple.
Service

Rooms
9/10

Adequate stay with noise issues

large room comfortable bed nice shower loud music awkward parking security concern
The room provided was large with a comfortable bed. A REALLY nice shower was available, including towels and soap. The location was suitable for my visit.
The parking situation was not ideal. It was behind an Indian restaurant across the street. Loud music and commotion from the pub persisted until after 12. People tried the door, hoping it was unlocked, concerning.
