Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Old Library & Lodge, situated in the heart of Arisaig, offers spacious rooms, some providing access to a lovely private back garden and others boasting amazing views towards Rum and Eigg. Guests frequently enjoy the delicious on-site dining, especially the seafood and the extensive breakfast menu. While the location is ideal for exploring nearby white sandy beaches and accessing the Isle of Skye ferry within 10 minutes, some guests have noted a lack of sufficient power sockets in the rooms. Overall, the hotel provides a great value stay with comfortable accommodations in a typically Scottish setting.

separate entrance large room great breakfast
The room had its own entrance separate from the restaurant. The room was large and provided everything I needed. Breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).
There were not enough sockets. I could not charge devices without unplugging other things.

a mixed stay, some issues present

non-functional television inflexible breakfast
The television in the room did not function . i found this quite frustrating. also, the breakfast arrangement was not ideal. I felt pressured to choose a meal without knowing the menu. this made planning my morning rather difficult, i hope this can be addressed.
