underwhelming castle stay.

exposed wires non-functional plug
the grounds seemed nice.
The room felt unfinished with exposed wires. I guess they are still renovating. the bathroom tap turned the wrong way. also, the sink plug did not function properly, made washing up a challenge. it seemed like no one had checked these basics before i arrived.

A Romantic Return

amazing meal unique experience talented chef
I celebrated my anniversary here, surrounded by history and beauty. The staff demonstrated such kindness, always ready to help. The Dungeon Restaurant offered a nice meal. The chef is talented. Falconry was a unique experience. The handlers shared their knowledge of these birds.
The bar service felt a tad slow one evening.

Our classic DOUBLE room was spacious and very comfortable. The turret sitting area offered views that were beautiful. The rooms have been fully renovated. They offer all amenities for a luxurious stay. There are stones walls.

Breakfast includes freshly made items. The breads are delicious. The Dungeon Restaurant offered a unique romantic dining experience. We had a five-course dinner menu. It was a culinary journey, starting with an amuse-bouche of red pepper hummus tarte.
