comfortable room great view
i had a classic twin room it was very comfortable clean and spacious it included everything one could want the room felt quiet and out of the way also the expansive lawns had great views.
i waited ten minutes to get a drink i rang the bell several times and walked around the whole hotel i never found anyone

limited menu road noise
The dinner situation was frustrating. I booked well in advance expecting a nice dining room experience but was told upon arrival dinner was served only in the bar. The bar food menu offered only basic options like burgers and fries. Also the road noise from the nearby A9 was really bothersome it made relaxing outside difficult.

large room spacious bathroom scenic view limited choices tough meat
The room was large and the bathroom was spacious. The bed seemed a bit bigger than a standard double. The view of the scenery was great!
I went for lunch. The choices were limited. There were only three main course options and one was a vegetable bake. I ended up with the steak pie, but it tasted like tough dog meat. There was no sauce, and the pastry was thin and tasteless.
