dirty floor empty dispensers
i found the chalet quite disappointing. the floors were not clean and there were crumbs on the tables. the bathroom lacked complimentary toiletries and the dispensers were empty, it was a bit of a joke. i wouldn't describe the place as a modern resort.

spacious villa easy walk unfixed tap water heater
i admire the villa, it was spacious. i was happy we discovered the secret to opening the conservatory doors. the easy walk into town made dinner very convenient for everyone.
the water heater was off on arrival, so we lacked hot water the first night. it took twelve hours overnight for it to heat after switching it on. the staff seemed quite flippant about it. the broken hot tap in our bathroom went unfixed.

Great Stay in the Highlands

helpful staff good value great location superb accommodation
My chalet had available everything needed. It was a home away from home. The staff was helpful. I found good value. The size of the lodge was good for two people. The location for exploring the area was great. The grounds and accomodation are super.
The parking at the lodges is tight, in terms of size of spaces.
Facilities
9/10
The swimming pool, sauna, and gym are included with the package I had. I found a weekly timetable of events happening at the resort. The resort also has a few shops and carry-out places nearby, which are useful.
Location

I found the resort located close to historical sites. The place is easily accessible. It features a great location for exploring the wider area. Many activities were available and included in the price.
Rooms

The unit I stayed in was very cozy and clean. The unit was also larger than I thought it would be. There was lots of comfy seating with a homely, cozy feel. The large bathroom facilities has a sauna attached.

well-equipped kitchen lovely bathtub dated decor blow heater
the kitchen came equipped well so i could cook meals easily there was a lovely bathtub to soak in after exploring the scottish countryside all day. i found a beautiful river nearby during a walk on the hotel i did not expect such a hidden treasure.
the chalet was dated and the decor seemed tired the second bedroom only had a blow heater and i felt quite cold at night. i saw this advertised as a luxury resort but i think a better description would be average.

Relaxing Getaway

well-equipped kitchen covered balcony
I found the kitchen well-equipped. It made preparing our own meals simple. The covered balcony was a fantastic addition because it allowed us to enjoy the outdoors despite some rain. I especially appreciated the soaking bathtub after exploring the Scottish nature.
The chalet felt dated. Some furniture and decor was old. Pet hair was noticeable, possibly from previous guests. I would advise updating the flooring to accommodate pet stays.
