tranquil stay with excellent service
tranquil room excellent breakfast
i enjoyed the tranquil room adjacent to the sauna after hiking each day. the garden area provided a perfect setting for stargazing with a bottle of wine. i found the staff helpful and they enhanced my stay with their charm. the breakfast offered excellent quality.
the bar's lack of cocktail service seemed out of place for a hotel of this supposed caliber. i felt this limitation impacted the overall experience and could be easily improved. the absence of this offering contrasted with the otherwise high standards of the hotel.

The hotel's location was Very nice. I appreciated the varied choices available at breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, chargrill. The staff were kind. I felt welcomed. Laura at the front desk gave us directions on what to visit on the north side of the island. She was very helpful.
There was a minor coffee stain in the corner of the room. The sheets had a stain also.

Subpar Dinner Service
unreasonable amount poor service
Breakfast choices were good, with a decent range of options available.
Dinner service was a real mess. The staff seemed overwhelmed and clearly short-handed. I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for my meal. This poor service does not warrant the automatic service charge.
