fantastic venue

great staff comfortable room clean room
the wedding i attended was great. the staff were great and very helpful. the room was comfortable and clean. the room was well decorated.
i noticed only a few vegetarian options at dinner. some vegetarian dishes contained chilli. chilli is not needed in vegetable soup.

non-functional elevator fluctuating temperature
The room , a 'Junior Suite' , felt somewhat neglected. The elevator did not work , a minor inconvenience I suppose. However , the shower was a problem . The temperature fluctuated wildly. The breakfast was average at best . The bacon was overly salty.

a charming stay

well trained staff attractive grounds excellent food high expectations
i found the food excellent. the staff had knowledge of the area and attractions. we could walk around grounds to explore what was available. i appreciated that everything lived up to our expectations.
the breakfast finished quite early, check out is a later time though.

out elevator broken bath
the room was clean upon arrival and that was acceptable.
i encountered several problems. the elevator was OUT of service. the whirlpool bath in the suite DID not function. bits fell off the bath when i tried to fill it.

The staff were AMAZING!!! They were helpful. Our room, a twin room, was very clean. The attention to detail was on point.
There was NO thermostat in the room. It was cold. The bathroom toiletries were poor. The windows wouldn't close properly. It's a shame.
