compact pod outdoor fireplace
i stayed in a dog friendly camping pod. it was clean and compact, with everything i needed. a fireplace outside the pod was a great addition, it kept the midges away. the site was quiet and clean and i found toilet block and showers were kept very clean.
the pod windows inside had an inch thick layer of dust.

the pod was cosy! the facilities included showers and a kitchen area. these were amazing and definitely added to the experience. the showers were really nice and the kitchen area was great.

the site has good views.
the wifi was advertised, and i paid for it, but it barely worked. this caused a lot of frustration. also, i found the boathouse pub on site too expensive.

outdoor area fire pit
The pod offered its own outside area. It also featured a fire pit and grill. I found these amenities useful for evening meals. The location is fantastic, just up the hill from the loch.
I think an upgrade or immediate refund would have been a better solution at check-in.

easy access communal kitchen worn bedding missing crockery
I found the location offered easy access to Loch Lomond tourist sites. It remained lovely and tranquil. The communal kitchen was well equipped and peaceful.
The bedding was warm but quite worn. I thought it needed updating. There was no crockery inside the hut.
