Wonderful food and convenient location

attentive staff homemade burgers quality produce excellent dinner
Dinner was excellent with a very good price. The homemade burgers tasted delicious. Presentation was lovely and staff was very attentive. Breakfast was just as good with high-quality produce used for the cooked items. Juices, cereal, toast and jam were in good supply.
i noticed one very slight issue, the absence of bedside tables in my room caused a minor inconvenience.

The bedroom was a spacious size for comfort. The bed proved comfortable for sleeping. The bathroom had ample space. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was included.

A Weekend of Delight

genuine care restful sleep high-quality items
The staff showed genuine care and kindness. I had a restful sleep each night on the comfortable bed. Parking on the premises was easy. This was very helpful. The breakfast included fresh produce and high-quality Scottish items. This was a wonderful start to each day.
The shower had low pressure. This made showering less refreshing than I'd hoped.

dated bathroom chipped paint
the 'classic double room' wasn't what i expected. the bathroom was really small and felt very dated. i saw some chipped paint in the corners, it bothered me. a led light blinked all night, it was annoying!

The staff were so friendly and cute!!! it was great that dinner was available in the hotel. The prices seemed very reasonable. the breakfasts were EXCELLENT too. it's also a short walk to the beach, which i thought was amazing!!!
the hotel admitted it needs a complete refurbishment, and i totally agree. i stayed in a room, and i had to use the fire exit to carry my suitcases because of the stairs. the bathroom shower had no screen!!!

The hotel boasts beautiful grounds to the rear with ample parking. The cosy twin room was a haven, clean, and provided everything we needed. we woke up to a superb breakfast! we will most certainly return. It was a nice weekend.
