a decent stay overall

helpful staff coffee provisions distant room thin walls
the staff at reception were very helpful. max made sure i had extra coffee provisions in my room. he also showed me where everything was on a guide map (very useful!).
i could hear my neighbors through the walls until midnight. the walls are definitely not soundproof.

steam room perfect location spa hot tub storm damage changing room
I loved that the hotel has a pool and spa with a steam room! There was also a sauna and a hot tub available. The location was perfect for trips, I was only a quick 5-minute drive to the visitor center for climbing.
The gym was closed because of storm damage I was bummed! There was no shower available in the women's changing rooms just a dribble!

The hotel has a heated swimming pool I found enjoyable. The breakfast had a good selection and the food tasted delicious. Staff members were nice and professional .
Some missing letters on outside signage created a slightly negative first impression.

surprisingly good stay

lovely food excellent staff warm atmosphere
the food was lovely, and the hotel staff was excellent. the building was clean and had a very warm atmosphere. parking was included, a real convenience when you have luggage to unload.
i noticed the hotel could use a little updating in some areas.

the staff at the breakfast service were efficient. the front desk personnel offered helpful information about amenities available. i found them polite, and keen to assist guests.

mountain view breakfast selection delicious breakfast
The room was a Beautiful Double Room Mountain View. I enjoyed having a mountain view from the room. Breakfast included a delicious full fry up with sausages, haggis, and black pudding.
The 'B' was missing from the hotel's name on the front, though that did not impact my stay.
