relaxing getaway

fresh food local beers helpful staff
the breakfast was really good (probably the best i've had in a hotel). the fresh food was plentiful. the bar offered a good range of local beers and spirits at reasonable prices. the staff displayed a lovely and helpful attitude.
access to rooms with heavy luggage presented a small challenge. carrying bags up to the rooms wasn't simple. it would be great to have easier access.

i stayed in a beautiful loft room. the room included complimentary toiletries. breakfast featured fresh fruit and homemade granola, it was not a buffet. the staff remembered i had a vegan diet.
the bar was a little dark.

Charming Stay with Thoughtful Touches

fresh lemonade special touch hotel bedding
The hotel provided lovely bedding. The shower was great. The food in the restaurant tasted excellent. The hotel offered fresh lemonade and cookies left outside the room in the evening adding a special touch.
Access to the rooms involved carrying luggage upstairs making it slightly difficult with heavy bags.

cold coffee poor service
the waitress seemed quite slow, it was disappointing. i really wanted morning coffee and scones in the courtyard. i got the coffee way before my scone, so it was cold by the time my scone arrived. the scone was frozen in the middle. that was really bad.
