worn furniture damp mattresses
The lodge had some issues I found disappointing. The furniture looked quite worn. The mattresses felt damp I did not find this comfortable. I considered leaving early because of this. Some updates are needed I think.

relaxing family getaway
I loved the peaceful location, so quiet and perfect. seeing the deer from our balcony was a highlight, especially during morning coffee. the sound of the stream nearby added to the tranquil atmosphere. I really enjoyed that.

the hotel included a boating loch with free access, fun. we took a pleasant walk through the woods near the loch, a really nice outdoor space.
