the room was clean the bed was comfortable i enjoyed watching sheep near the building the staff was friendly and helpful

remote getaway done right
easy check in open fire fantastic breakfasts
i enjoyed how easy check in was. the staff was great and made it very relaxing. i also liked sitting by the open fire and having a few drinks. the breakfasts were fantastic and the dinners too.
the road to get there had so many potholes. i arrived in the dark and i had to crawl along to get to the hotel. the signage wasn't lit so i drove past the entrance, it was annoying.

the hotel offers secluded grounds that feature beautiful views. i enjoyed watching the sheep and pheasants. it is a good spot for peace and quiet if you like to get away from it all.

there is a lovely lounge with a fire going all the time. i was able to look at their booklet describing all their local whisky. the bar has a nice selection, i recommend trying the local gin.

the family room was spacious. it came well appointed. the soaking tub was a good bonus. the beds bedding and pillows were very comfortable, and i slept well in the beautiful double room.

the staff was really good. they are very friendly attentive and helpful. victoria was super friendly. i really enjoyed talking to her at the bar.

the location felt remote (i liked that). my room was a good size. the breakfast was tasty. the staff were always polite and helpful.
the single-track road felt quite dangerous. the menu was the same every day. i found that the food was a bit too rich for my liking.

lovely stay with a few minor hiccups
friendly staff fantastic scenery amazing room tasty breakfast
i found the staff very friendly and helpful . the hotel setting featured fantastic scenery i appreciated. my room was amazing i also enjoyed the excellent food. breakfast was tasty with a good selection i noticed.
the single track road was terribly dangerous to navigate at night i felt.
